Try out a CSA for 2 weeks!

October 4, 2013 by Sarah Wondrasek Leave a Comment

Have you considered joining a CSA but opted out because you weren’t sure if it would be a good investment or something you’d enjoy?

Well, here’s your chance to try one out for two weeks! Untiedt’s is offering a two-week long extended season, but hurry you need to sign up by October 7th! Half shares feed 2-3 people and cost $48; full shares feed 4-6 people and cost $83. Click here to sign up and specify your pick-up location; they have several options that should accommodate anyone in the metro area.

My husband and I joined in May and have been receiving fresh fruit and vegetables all summer long. We’ve had a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to sign up again next year.

This two-week trial is a great way to try it out and determine if purchasing a full season CSA is something you’d like.  Not only is the food delicious, supporting a local farm is a fantastic idea.

Have a great weekend!
